There are many new developments in Hungary which are decided in an autocratic way, not leaving room for opposing ideas, not even for questions. In the given, government-controlled and dominated media situation in Hungary it is not easy for the opponents to effectively reach the public: the opposition’s access to the various channels of the national media is extremely low. Thus there is no other option left but to take effective actions on social media in order to call the attention of the public on the given issue. In the last few years, there have been several examples of such actions, with varying degrees of success.
